Something to think about, Channel 7 Adelaide said Matthew Lobbe has been brought in for cover for Brogan. Not sure if it was a slip of the tongue but Bruce Abernethy did say he has been brought into the 22. If anyone would know it’d be him being a board member at Alberton. Not confirmed on Port’s website. Talk is Sandilands is due to miss this week as a late withdrawal as well.

Monty, i forgot where to submit the player reviews so i’ll do it here:

    Alan Toovey

Alan Toovey is a seriously slender unit. Despite looking like a human bell-end he has grown into a fine foot soldier in Mick Malthouse’s bunch of back line warriors.

Like the tortoise Toovey has slowly increased his DT numbers whilst solidifying his place in the Collingwood side. His average of 62 to the split is bolstered mostly by tackles of which Toovey averages nearly 6 a game.

Toovey’s consistent albeit moderate scores have not seen him become a popular pick by DT coaches across our sunburnt land however now he is entrenched in Collingwood colours this tortoise could quickly become the hare.

    Interesting observations on Toovs, Hansberry.
I have had him from the start, ran out of salary cap…and apart from a couple of games early on he has been pretty reliable as a last back/bench for me. Mick loves him and he is fairly resilient, which is handy as a backman.I wait with anticipation for him to make 30 tackles in a game soon so he cracks the ton
