    A line-breaking midfielder capable of winning his own footy, Sandringham Dragons skipper Ryan Byrnes arrives at the club ready to make an immediate impact after averaging 25 touches across 15 NAB League appearances. His best attribute is a high minimum of effort, persisting well in losses.
    Byrnes has all the physical traits to seek an early debut for the upcoming season. Demonstrating nous with finding the ball throughout his junior career, the Saint may prove a viable fantasy option in years to come but not for draft leagues right now as his floor will likely drop at AFL level.
