Pickett encroaches to bring Hunter from wing to 40m on a slight angle, who misses. (Q1 7:15)
Pickett roves a Fritsch contest and hits the post with a quick snap across the body from 20m on the flank. (Q1 9:01)
After three shank kicks in a row at half forward for the Bulldogs, Macrae gives to McLean for the first goal for the tricolour, relatively easily from the hotspot. (Q1 10:30)
Wallis takes a strong contested grab over Harmes 30m out on the flank and steers his first set shot inside the right goalpost. (Q1 14:26)

Oliver centres to Melksham at the hotspot whose set shot is touched off the boot for a behind, disappointingly. (Q2 7:00)
Melksham receives near true CHF and decides to kick long to the square, plenty of dud kicks today in tricky wind but that one is a howitzer, clears Weideman and bounces through! (Q2 16:22)
