Stack makes the wet footy look dry as he picks it up and slices through traffic. He offloads to Edwards who shoots from outside 50 but it’s punched over the line for a minor score. (Q1 5:01)
McIntosh’s effort to get a boot in and surge the footy forward sets up Higgins to snap on his right from 40. Jack kicks the first major of the evening! (Q1 12:16)
Castagna is able to squeeze a hurried kick on goal from the pocket but it’s affected by the tackle and barely scrapes in for a minor score. (Q1 16:33)
From the wing, Andrew McGrath sends the footy inside 50. Begley gets separation and clunks the mark in front of Broad. He lines up from 45, missing to the right. (Q1 17:32)
McDonald-Tipungwuti catches Martin HTB with a terrific chase. He sends it inside 50 where Stringer is able to crumb and snap from 35m, albeit inaccurately. (Q1 21:43)
High contact is called against Broad for sliding into McDonald-Tipungwuti’s head. Anthony’s attempt from 40m on a moderate angle misses narrowly. (Q1 28:03)
Bellchambers is penalised for high contact in a ball-up situation in Richmond’s forward pocket. Hooker shoves Lynch to the ground, giving away 50m and making Tom a certain scorer. (Q2 5:12)

Bolton catches Saad just as he takes a bounce, making it HTB. Merrett doesn’t hear the whistle and continues on, giving away 50. Bolton kicks the easy goal from the square. (Q3 17:17)
Richmond are dominating the inside 50s this quarter. Castagna gets on the end of an Edwards entry, shoots from 45 and slots it from a tight angle. (Q3 19:26)

Caddy strolls to half forward and chips into the path of the first gamer, Coleman-Jones. The big man’s 40m set shot shaves the inside of the post. (Q3 23:32)
McKenna streams through the corridor before kicking kick long to the square. Grimes fails to kill the footy, allowing Langford to pounce and soccer it through. (Q3 29:47)
Redman launches a long bomb from outside 50 that’s touched on the line by Grimes. (Q4 1:17)
Begley provides the contest to bring the footy to ground inside 50. Langford is first to the loose ball and chalks up another soccer-style goal. (Q4 2:47)
Richmond bring the footy through the corridor via Caddy and Martin. Higgins’ set shot from 45, directly in front, is as good as it gets. (Q4 4:02)
Grimes again denies Essendon with a touch on the goal line, this time off the boot of Merrett from a stoppage. (Q4 5:12)
Bellchambers clunks a strong contested mark and slots the goal from 25m out with ease. (Q4 7:17)
Merrett chips a 15m kick to Laverde who will line up from 40. He strikes it beautifully to bring the margin back to four goals. (Q4 11:55)
Langford collects in the forward 50, offloads to Heppell and then clunks a one-hander off Heppell’s boot while running back with the flight. Kyle kicks truly from 30! (Q4 14:48)
It’s McGrath, Ambrose and then Merrett with a hasty snap kick toward goal that misses from 40. (Q4 16:00)
McGrath goes inside 50 where Ambrose marks diving to his right. He lines up from 45 but tugs it to the left. (Q4 17:39)
Rioli pounces on a loose ball in the pocket but his snap sails through for a behind. (Q4 28:18)
Rioli takes a huge contested mark and will shoot after the siren for some icing on the cake. He nails it before the Richmond anthem starts to play. (Full Time)
