Roberton ran off Taylor and with a bit of space centres the ball to a choice of McCartin and Membrey deep forward. McCartin ends up with the 1st goal of the day. (Q1 7:47)
Cameron slots the Lions’ first of the day as a benefactor of a holding the man whistle. 40 out, minimal angle. (Q1 9:17)
Membrey launches a 52m set-shot which just fades to the left for a behind. (Q1 11:31)

The footy clears a pack in the Saints’ forward pocket. After a couple handballs it ends with Gresham, who does what he does best and kicks the snap goal. (Q3 5:35)
Long marks a quick stoppage clearance, who gets it moving quickly and finds Membrey on the lead. From 45m out, he pulls it to the right for another behind for Tim. (Q3 8:00)
Acres pops it up to the hot-spot. Billings crumbs the pack and snaps over his shoulder, just missing. (Q3 8:55)
Beams and Bell work it out between themselves on the forward flank before Beams centres the footy to the dangerous area. Cam Rayner snaps on his left for his first goal in footy! (Q3 10:19)
Tom Bell clutches a pinpoint pass from big Stef Martin and has a chance to put the Lions in front. Brisbane hit the lead! (Q3 11:19)
Hipwood marks brilliantly then butchers the inside 50 kick. Coming out of defence, the Saints butcher it as well. Mayes’ shot from 50 narrowly misses (Q3 13:28)
Cameron goes bang! Amongst a crowded pack in the forward pocket, Charlie sneaks out the back, receives the short kick, and kicks another goal. (Q3 20:35)
McCartin marks close to goal with a runner steaming forward, but elects to hold on to it, before quickly passing to Bruce. It could have been a muck-up, but Bruce kicks the goal. (Q3 26:21)
With his speed, Jack Steven runs on to a Ben Long kick, steps around Hodge, and kick wonderfully from 50m to put the Saints back in front. (Q3 29:50)
Savage intercepts from Beams and hits up Billings on the lead. From just on 50, Jack misses. 5 shots today for 2.3 (Q4 5:58)
Andrews does well to draw the opposition player and then mongrels a kick into the 50. A diving Jarrod Berry takes the mark and kicks through the big sticks. Lions still alive. (Q4 8:28)
Membrey kicks up the wing to Billings, who turns around to multiple teammates free goalside. Long’s there, take your pick, Gresham finishes it. (Q4 10:39)
The quickest of replies from Brisbane! Another stoppage goal, this time from Mitch Robinson who launches it from downtown. (Q4 11:12)
Walker kicks dangerously into the middle where Jack Steele intercepts. Membrey marks the delivery in the pocket and checksides brilliantly. (Q4 13:57)
Newnes finds Billings in the pocket who unselfishly chips it to Membrey. After a sidestep, Tim kicks the easiest of goals. (Q4 17:10)
The Saints kick away as Bruce helicopters it from 60 and the Sherrin bounces exactly as he would have liked. (Q4 20:58)
It’s icing on the cake now as Ben Long joins the party with his first of the day. (Q4 25:42)
