Hot More hard work for Johnstone - Sat 23/7, 4:05PM
NEWS: Travis Johnstone was one Demon who could hold his head up high in the round 14 loss to Brisbane, with his workrate in the midfield not dropping even though his team was getting flogged. Johnstone finished the game with 26 touches and six tackles. Johnstone is in a very hot vein of form at the moment, and give he is a streaky player, you should be riding that streak for all it is worth. That he is still producing such numbers when he got a nasty knee knock the previous week makes him all the more valuable.

Johnstone's run comes to halt - Fri 22/7, 10:00PM
NEWS: Travis Johnstone could not get into the play in the first half of the game against the Power in round 15. He managed to reach 15 possessions by helping the Demons out in the last quarter when the contest was over, also adding a goal. Johnstone had been on a blazing hot streak for the previous six weeks, so this would be a major disappointment for fantasy coaches. They will hope this is just a one-week blip, but next week Sydney is likely to blanket him again. He's too good not to leave in your team.

Hot Sore Sore Johnstone fires on one leg - Thu 7/7, 11:00PM
NEWS: Despite coming off during the second quarter with what looked like a nasty knee injury, Travis Johnstone returned in the second half of the game in round 13 against West Coast and finished with 29 possessions. He will be tested before selection for next game. When Travis Johnstone is good, he is very very good, and right now he is riding a four-game hot streak which would win him a spot in any fantasy team. The week off after this game will do him the world of good, so don't hesitate to keep him in your side.

Johnstone outshone in round 1 - Fri 15/4, 5:00PM
NEWS: Travis Johnstone managed to kick a goal from his 14 possessions against the Dons in round 1, but his numbers looked tame in comparison to the stellar performances of most of his fellow Demon midfielders. Johnstone is usually a bellwether for the Demons' odd-year woes - he struggles when Melbourne slumps. This early form might be an indication that the Dees don't need him to fire in future for them to win.
