NEWS: Geelong Coach, Chris Scott recently said "We thought he was pretty good in the first game, but he's not up to his usual lofty standards. But that's pretty hard to maintain. He had a really good pre-season, he played some good footy through the pre-season competition, and we're expecting him to get back to his best really quickly." NEWS: We recently found out that Chapman's struggles from last year were due in part to him suffering with groin and knee problems. His aim in 2012 is to make it up to his team mates and in the final round of the NAB Cup, we liked what we saw. He finished with 29 possessions, 7 marks, 4 tackles and a goal for 113 Dream Team points. It was thought he was close to Best on Ground.

NEWS: Chapman suggested he is "almost three times better than last year's injury-ravaged summer." He cannot wait to play this weekend and is looking ready for a big season. With the news that he was in fact injured for much of last year and heading into 2012 fully fit, Chapman is looming as a fantasy beast.

NEWS: Chapman struggled all season with groin and knee problems and wants to repay his team mates this year for bringing him along to win a premiership last year. In 2012 he thinks he has a lot more to give, after coming off what he describes as the worst season of his career. It will be interesting to see if Chapman can return to the incredible 115 average. He seems determined.
