NEWS: For the third week in a row in round 13 against the Bulldogs Nick Stevens didn't reach 20 possessions, after making that number in his previous six matches. He finished with 17 touches and six marks. | Stevens had carried his excellent Wizard Cup form into something resembling a steady fantasy season before this streak of poor form. Fantasy coaches will just about have lost patience with him on this performance.

NEWS: After starting off quietly under a heavy tag from Cameron Ling, Nick Stevens broke free in the second half to amass 26 possessions and four marks in the round 8 clash with Geelong. He cramped up in the legs late in the last quarter, after injuring a medial ligament in his leg during training earlier in the week. | Stevens has been rightly criticised for his possessions not being effective enough, but for fantasy purposes he's a stud. He didn't show much ill effect from that ligament strain during the match, but he could well pull up sore, so watch for further injury news.

NEWS: While Nick Stevens accumulated 30 possessions, five marks and five tackles in round 7 against Richmond, he had no impact on the game with the Tigers running riot in the midfield. | Fantasy coaches love Stevens' wide-running style, even if it gives Blue fans conniptions. The only problem is that coach Denis Pagan may ask him to sacrifice his stats in future for the good of the team.
| ||||
NEWS: Nick Stevens collected the ball 26 times in the round 1 clash against the Hawks, although he only took two marks and kicked two points. | Stevens doesn't have many other strings to his bow other than being a ball magnet, but that skill more than satisfies fantasy coaches.
| ||||
NEWS: Nick Stevens may have left his brother at the altar, but he was best man for Carlton's midfield in the Wizard Cup grand final win over West Coast, picking up 27 possessions. | Stevens will need to take a few more marks and kick a goal or two every week to keep fantasy coaches happy, but the weight of possessions can't be ignored. A solid mid-round draft pick.
