| NEWS: According to afl.com.au "Riewoldt said his consistency was in no small part due to orthokine therapy, a process that obtains anti-inflammatory proteins from the patient's own blood and injects them into an arthritic joint." Riewoldt believes "I'm sure there are a few players in the competition that are doing it. It's given me a bit of a lift in the second half of the year. Certainly there are some up and down weeks and six day breaks play a bit more of a part but I feel good. Being able to train plays such a big part. If you're able to get out on Monday to Friday and have a little bit of a run around, you're able to stay pretty fit and stay active. You go into a game with a level of confidence as well. If you haven't trained during the week and you do that for two or three months on end it can have a bit of a hit on your confidence. Being able to train has kept me pretty fresh." | ||||

He'll be assessed during the week and he is down for a test at this stage. We're really positive about where he sits." | ||||

Riewoldt told Channel Seven's AFL Game Day on Sunday "I haven't done one before so I'm not exactly sure how to read it. I went into the rooms. I got checked by the docs and they gave me the okay to continue. It was one of those ones where you are probably not going to do much more damage. I'll have a scan, probably tomorrow. I should be fine to go. We've got the break coming up which is perfect timing." | ||||
