The Demons said Clark was diagnosed with a 'Lisfranc' injury to the middle part of his foot. Melbourne football manager Josh Mahoney said "He's obviously very disappointed about it. He's had such an influence on the group already this year and had just started the second part of the year with a good win and was very keen to continue that along and play against his old club so that is extremely frustrating for him.
