Injured Clark to miss remainder of the seasonESN - Tue 26/6, 9:25AM
NEWS: Clark went down in the 2nd quarter of Round 13 after kicking 4 goals in the first quarter and showing he had the skill set to win the Coleman medal. The Demons said Clark was diagnosed with a 'Lisfranc' injury to the middle part of his foot. Melbourne football manager Josh Mahoney said "He's obviously very disappointed about it. He's had such an influence on the group already this year and had just started the second part of the year with a good win and was very keen to continue that along and play against his old club so that is extremely frustrating for him. The club will now investigate the best course of action to repair and rehabilitate Mitch's injury. We want to ensure he has a smooth return to football in 2013."
