| NEWS: As he continues to recover back surgery, Matthew Pavlich is still three to four weeks away from joining full training. Despite this, he is aiming to play at least one NAB Cup match in preparation for the 2013 season. Pavlich also required hip and Achilles tendon surgery at the end of last season. "They've probably got the tight hold of me at this stage, just being extra cautious with the three operations," Pavlich said. "I'm pleased to be out on the track running with the rehab guys and I'll probably be in that group for another three to four weeks before I really get into some solid football drills and some more match simulation stuff. Depending on how that progresses, we'll look to play some NAB Cup stuff." | ||||

Pavlich admitted he was carrying back ailment, Achilles and hip issues, throughout the 2012 season. Pavlich believes "I've got to make sure that I recover firstly from the surgery, and that I do everything right so that I'm out with the boys on the track early January," he said. | ||||
