He is a very talented football player, but playing across half forward, tends to drift in and out of games. He also has issues with set shots at goal, which after Round 1, he certainly is not on top of. | ||||

| NEWS: It is North Melbourne forward coach Brett Allison's opinion that Thomas has issues in front of goal because he has too long to think about it. Over the pre-season, they have worked on a new approach to kicking set shots by shortening his run up. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Many players have never conquered the power of the stage fright. | ||||
