| NEWS: Dale Thomas is his name. Well mightily close. Sumner is fast, agile & a ferocious tackler. He has a lot of resemblance to the blonde Magpie. He wants to be a midfielder, but there are just too many of them at this stage and he might not quite have the tank yet. Expect him to break into GWS this year as a small forward if he is given the opportunity. Sumner has a serious vertical leap on him and is very clean with his disposal. Terrific overhead and can penetrate the kick inside 50. Another GWS midfielder to watch for the future. At TAC Cup level last year he played in 10 games averaging 18 possessions, 5 marks, 4 tackles and 1.5 goals amassing him 88 Dream Team points a game. In the NAB Under 18 AFL Championships he averaged 15 possessions, 3 marks and 4 tackles, leaving him with 66 Dream Team points a game, playing in only 4 games over the 5 game carnival.
