Injured Hayes still in line for Round 1ESN - Sat 17/3, 10:38AM
NEWS: St Kilda plan to step up his training load in the coming 2 weeks in anticipation that he will be ready to play in Round 1. Hayes was knocked unconscious in the final round of the NAB Cup in the first quarter and missed the rest of the game. It concerns us that Hayes has not had a strong fantasy score heading into the season. We are cautious on him. It has become a risk to name him in your team but could still work out.

NEWS: Last night Hayes played in his first competitive hitout at AFL level since his knee reconstruction. 2012 OutlookESN - Wed 1/2, 7:52PM
NEWS: It's a dangerous move for a player over 30 coming off of a knee reconstruction, but we don't think its reckless. Opportunities like this don't come up often! He is a potential top 10 playmaker for DT$380K/SC$420K. News coming out of pre-season is that he is getting close to full speed and training with the main group. Hayes is a Nick Riewoldt. A professional. We have no doubt he has completed all the recovery work 1000 times over. A new coached free flowing St Kilda is the game plan. This is a 2012 outlook article.
