Hayes looks set for Round 1

| NEWS: St Kilda plan to step up his training load in the coming 2 weeks in anticipation that he will be ready to play in Round 1. Hayes was knocked unconscious in the final round of the NAB Cup in the first quarter and missed the rest of the game. It concerns us that Hayes has not had a strong fantasy score heading into the season. We are cautious on him. It has become a risk to name him in your team but could still work out. | ||||

He didn't get a lot of the ball in the shortened 20 minute quarters, finishing with 5 possessions and being subbed out for the second half, however, he did get through it.
