NEWS: Greater Western Sydney coach Kevin Sheedy has been singing praise to the Crow Key Position saying "I've got no doubt that Tippett will be as good as Salmon. Paul Salmon was an absolute marvelous player, I think he might have kicked over 500 goals, if you can keep [Tippett] in Adelaide, which I'd advise you to do, you'll enjoy the journey."

NEWS: First goal... 4.1 from 17 possessions and 5 grabs on Davis | Tippett also had 3 taps.

NEWS: Kurt Tippett will be the "stay-at-home" key forward against the Greater Western Sydney Giants in Round 4. Shaun McKernan being brought into the side will play the backup role in the Ruck to Sam Jacobs. This will likely affect Tippett's output in fantasy land. It is Greater Western Sydney this week, so Tippett could easily dominate, but what about future weeks as a stay at home forward? If this stays in place, he is no longer as attractive.

NEWS: Lyon has said on Footy Classifieds on Monday night that the Adelaide Crows should trade Tippett and that it would be to difficult to improve his efficiency. Sam Jacobs has come to the defence of the big key position forward on Tuesday saying "It's a ridiculous comment. Tippo's' very important to us and what he does to get those shots on goal, his contested marking and stuff like that, was outstanding."
| ||||
NEWS: Tippett missed some crucial goals in Round 3 against the Hawks when the game was still on the line, finishing with 3 goals and 3 behinds. Brenton Sanderson said after the game that "He was disappointed. He missed some goals that we would have loved for him to kick, but it's something that he's working on pretty hard behind the scenes and I'm sure it's going to improve. From the naked eye today, he probably got a little too close to the man on the mark - not enough momentum going forward. We can see it from the coach's box but, unfortunately, he misses and they score. That's sometimes the momentum shifts that happen in footy. I'm sure he's very close to tearing a game apart."

NEWS: With the Crows looking first class in the opening round, Tippett looks to be one player who will benefit from the increased Inside 50 count. He rocketed out of the gates on the weekend and had 67DT/57SC points at quarter time. He slowed after this and coasted for the remainder of the game to accumulate a big fantasy innings. His set shot for goal seems likely to continue to frustrate you this year.

NEWS: It is looming that Tippett reaches that potential that he clearly possesses in 2012. He has been very impressive in pre-season and even looks bigger than he already was. He was man handling some of the Collingwood defenders. It is a strong duo, of Tippett and Taylor Walker up forward, as well when you add in new recruit Tom Lynch and Jason Porplyzia.
