NEWS: An injury to Jason Laycock early in the game against Richmond in round 15 meant Kepler Bradley had to go into the ruck for long periods, and he was badly beaten by Troy Simmonds. Bradley only managed 6 hit-outs, but his proximity to the packs helped his possession count which reached 24. | Bradley is certainly too young and underdeveloped to play in the ruck as a permanent option, although he is tall enough at 195cm. He will most likely return to backline duties next week, but if he remains in the ruck then he might be a productive player for your fantasy team in the short term.

NEWS: Kepler Bradley had 11 possessions and four marks against St Kilda in round 13, in an Essendon backline that again had to do without Dustin Fletcher and thus did not release Bradley to play his preferred rebounding role. | The two weeks off after the previous game, in which Bradley had suffered an eye injury, obviously helped his recovery. Nevertheless, since his first three games, his stats have not warranted him staying in fantasy sides.

NEWS: Kepler Bradley was taken to hospital after the round 12 match against the Eagles with an eye injury after one of his own team mates crashed into him at a marking contest. Bradley played out the game and finished with 10 touches. | Dr Peter Larkins on Channel 9 speculated that Bradley would do well to only miss two weeks, meaning he may only miss one game with the week off during the split round. Bradley has been sliding off the fantasy radar in any case.

NEWS: Kepler Bradley went off in the second quarter of the game in round 7 against Sydney after a jarring contest which looked to have injured his right side. He was taken to hospital for x-rays on his ribs and Channel 10 reported he had had trouble breathing. | Given that Bradley missed the last two matches with an indeterminate injury, this does not look good. Fantasy coaches could be forgiven if they lost patience with him.

NEWS: Kepler Bradley won the Rising Star nomination for round 1 with 25 possessions and 10 marks in what was one of the few bright points for the Bombers in their loss to Melbourne. | Bradley was most likely overlooked in most league drafts, but bold fantasy coaches may well take a chance on him after this stellar performance.
