Hunt said after the game "It's a dream of a lot of people to be in that situation and I was very lucky to be that man last night. I've definitely dreamt of that and had scenarios in my own head where I could prepare myself if I ended up in that situation, and lucky enough last night I managed to kick the goal. I understood it was a pretty big moment, obviously a lot of pressure in those situations. I think you've got to try and manipulate your mind and try and take the pressure off by treating it as a normal kick and that's what I did. I walked back and a few of the boys came up to me, Harley (Bennell) said 'That's the siren' and Gaz (captain Gary Ablett) said 'Follow through' and that's what I did - I went back, had my normal run-up and thankfully it went through." | ||||
