Injured Bolton looks set to returnESN - Fri 31/8, 4:57PM
NEWS: Swans coach John Longmire said "Jude pulled up pretty well from training the other day and he bounced in as he normally does and put his magnet up on the board and said he is a chance to play. Jude is feeling really fresh, and he said the benefit of having a few weeks off at this time of the year, which he's never had, means he is jumping out of his skin. If he trains today, we'll play him."

Injured Bolton thinks he will play Round 23ESN - Thu 23/8, 5:14PM
NEWS: As mentioned before these comments are in fact made by Bolton and not a doctor, but Bolton does seem extremely confident of returning against Geelong in round 23. He said on FOX FOOTY's On the Couch "I'm a big chance of playing next week, not this week. I've really pushed hard to put my hand up for the Hawthorn game, but hopefully (I'll be back next week). "Sitting on the sidelines in the Carlton game I was a bit worried it was all over. I'm just wrapped I can actually contribute this season. Hobbling off didn't feel great and then I actually felt a bit like (Port Adelaide's) Robbie Gray I guess and thought I might have broken my leg or something like that."

Injured Bolton improvingESN - Thu 16/8, 5:19PM
NEWS: Swans physiotherapist Matt Cameron told Swans TV "(Jude) is going well and his knee is settling down. There is a not a lot of soreness in it now (when he is) walking around. We were actually able to run him on the treadmill yesterday, and that went well, but he's not quite ready to run on the grass. He's in the gym and he's working pretty hard. He's close to starting to run and then we'll get an idea of when we can start training and when he is likely to return to play."

Hot Bolton continues to dominateESN - Tue 5/6, 9:01AM
NEWS: Bolton renowned for his wet weather football, on the weekend he showed once again how damaging he can be against the Western Bulldogs finishing with 41 possessions and 2 goals. Swans forward Sam Reid told AFL.com.au after the match "I woke up this morning and said to a few of the boys 'I wonder if Jude wakes up on these days and says, 'c'mon, it's wet. For us bigger guys, we curse the rain, but he's special in the rain and it was no different tonight. He seems to be getting better. Every pre-season he's at the front of the group and he works so hard and he's a great leader. When you're getting older there's still no limits on how well you can play."
