| NEWS: At 197cm and 95kgs he will be throwing his body around from the very beginning. It's unfortunate his recent knee injury will mean he is not be available for selection until May. You would have expected a Round 1 debut. Don't be too overly optimistic with him when he does eventually get the nod. The bigs always take longer to develop. But he has a terrific set shot at goal, has great hands, is incredibly agile for a big guy, and is likened to Wayne Carey. When he does play for GWS later this year we would be expecting around the 50-60 DT/SC mark. During his stint at TAC Cup level, it was common to see 2 to 3 defenders follow him around in a crowded forward line. We think this might help his development at AFL level. At TAC Cup level last year he played in 11 games averaging 17 possessions, 7 marks, 2 tackles, and 2.8 goals amassing him 94 Dream Team points a game. In the NAB Under 18 AFL Championships he averaged 15 possessions, 9 marks, 1 tackle, and 3.6 goals leaving him with 98 Dream Team points a game over the 5 game carnival.
