Hot Bowden shrugs off head hit - Thu 21/7, 11:30PM
NEWS: Despite being hit solidly in the head by a Paul Thomas bump in a torrid first quarter in round 15 against the Dons, Joel Bowden did not take any time off the ground, and helped himself to 24 possessions and nine marks for the game. Bowden has only had two poor games for the year, making him one of the most valuable fantasy midfielders in the competition. That he is tough enough to withstand the inevitable on-field attacks on him makes him all the more worthy.

Hot Productive night for Bowden - Fri 15/7, 5:00PM
NEWS: Joel Bowden was the most effective Tiger midfielder in round 13 against Adelaide, amassing 28 touches, seven marks and seven tackles. AFL.com.au said he was the "only clear winner" for Richmond. After being red hot from rounds 2-8, Bowden had cooled off significantly. The Tigers midfield have been terrible in that time, but maybe Bowden can lead a resurgence after the week off to rest.

Bowden runs across half-back - Thu 23/6, 11:00PM
NEWS: After being quiet early in the round 11 loss to Richmond, Joel Bowden benefited from a shift to become the sweeper across half-back, providing the Tigers with valuable rebounding in their third-quarter comeback. He finished with 25 possessions and five marks. Bowden has had two comparitively terrible weeks after starting the season with a bang. Hopefully for his many fantasy coaches, this will signal a return to form.

Hot Bowden blows Blues away - Thu 19/5, 10:00PM
NEWS: Joel Bowden had his best game of an already impressive year by collecting 33 possessions and 10 marks in the round 7 win over Carlton. Bowden continues to be one of the premier fantasy players in the competition, and unlike most of last season, he's actually helping the Tigers win some games.
