| NEWS: The Victoria Police media department released the following statement "Police were called to a Grovedale address just after 7am this morning in regards to an alleged assault. A 21-year-old Grovedale man was arrested and released pending further inquiries." police media spokeswoman Melissa Seach said. The Geelong Cats also issued a statement on Saturday morning saying "Geelong player Jesse Stringer was the subject of a complaint made to police on Friday. Given the matter is being investigated by the police, the club, its players and officials are not in position to make any comment until such time as the police investigation and any subsequent events arising out of the investigation have been concluded." | ||||
