NEWS: Laidler is booked in for surgery on his injured knee and will take no further part in 2012. General Manager Football Operations, Andrew McKay said "This is obviously extremely disappointing for Jeremy, particularly after the hard work he has just completed to return to playing. He is a very important player and has been very positive around the club in the last few weeks as he prepared for the last half of the season. It is most unfortunate, his knee was strong and he had recovered from the injury he sustained in round four and there was certainly no obvious risk in Jeremy playing on Saturday. It is one of those things that can happen in our game." | ||||
