2012 OutlookESN - Wed 1/2, 6:24PM
NEWS: McKenzie will look to make a half back flank his own in coming years. He is also likely to have ambitions to play midfield, but currently doesn't have the tank testing poorly at the Draft Combine with endurance. He does however, have an excellent pin point left foot kick which could be extremely effective releasing North Melbourne midfielders. McKenzie reads the play well and loves winning the hard ball. In the NAB Under 18 AFL Championships he averaged 16 possessions, 4 marks and 3 tackles leaving him with 67 Dream Team points a game over the 5 game carnival. Pre-season wraps have been high. In particularly, his deadly left foot kick on the training track. Cash Cow Potential: Yet to debut in NAB Cup. Still unlikely for Round 1, but monitor. Huge upside. Could be an excellent SuperCoach player. This is a 2012 outlook article.
