NEWS: Melbourne Demons coach Mark Neeld spoke yesterday about Green's performance at VFL level on the weekend suggesting "I thought his effort was pretty good. Cold Green dropped for performance issues, not ageESN - Mon 16/4, 8:53AM
NEWS: Assistant coach Leigh Brown said "He has to perform. There's been guys knocking on the door trying to get back in ... and Brad's no different - go back (to the reserves) and play some really good footy. There's no youth policy. Brad was out of form - simple as that. He wants to work hard and get back in, and that's nothing that we wouldn't expect from Brad.''

Cold Green will not dwell on losing the CaptaincyESN - Mon 13/2, 7:51AM
NEWS: This is the opinion of close friend and ex team mate Cameron Bruce. He will get on with the job and he actually seems revitalised on the track under a new head coach and a promising list. He has been training in the same role he played last year as a forward marking target. He may have more freedom this season with Mitch Clark taking some attention away.

2012 OutlookESN - Sun 5/2, 4:20PM
NEWS: Green's demise was always coming. An injury riddled 2009 campaign left him as a juicy proposition in 2010 and hey paid handsomely. He was huge and began 2011 with a big price tag on his head. It was unsustainable. His age, his team and his body all worked against him to watch him tumble down the losers page. This is a 2012 outlook article.

Cold Green asked to step downESN - Fri 3/2, 5:18PM
NEWS: We are sure Green is delighted for Trengove and Grimes being the future of the club to lead them into more September action than they have in the past 5 years. But on the inside it would hurt Green to be told he is no longer needed as Captain or even to be part of the Leadership Group for that matter.
