NEWS: Morabito has received another 3 week set back with the news that he has suffered a slight quad strain. Ross Lyon is confident Morabito will be able to play in Round 1 of the premiership season in the WAFL.
| ||||
NEWS: He will take no further part in pre-season matches and is expected to miss the opening round of the AFL season against Geelong. This is a major setback for Morabito, as he attempts to recover from a knee reconstruction.
| ||||
NEWS: Morabito completed a full training load last week. Over the past year he has had trouble getting on top of his injured knee, with 3 setbacks already, but seems like he is now getting very close to playing. Morabito is expected to play 2 pre-season games before the opening round of the season. Morabito is a fringe cash cow option with high upside.

NEWS: Morabito missed the entire 2011 season due to a knee reconstruction. He was taken with Pick #4 in the 2009 National Draft and averaged in the 50s in both formats of the game last year. But there is something special about this one. He is going to be some kind of a player. Now with a season out of the game it will be tough for him recovering and getting back up to speed, but he has all the talent to do this. He is priced at $168K, making him not the cheapest on the market, but he certainly has the potential to return a decent profit. It all depends on how his knee responds. Cash Cow Proposition: At his high price, you really want to see him at full speed in NAB Cup action, but certainly upside and in Best 22. | This is a 2012 outlook article.

NEWS: His knee is slowly becoming an injury of the past as he progresses well in recovery. He is expected to feature in NAB Cup action, which will give us a great opportunity to get a look at him before the season starts.
