Alan Didak, Collingwood Forward
Injured Didak has torn an adductor muscle in his groinESN - Tue 7/2, 1:23PM
NEWS: He will miss 4 weeks and is unlikely to be spotted in NAB Cup action. It was already a risk to play him with his form in 2011. Now the proposition of seeing a turnaround season early is closing. An interrupted pre-season is generally detrimental to a players season or at least early on in the season.

Cold Did Didak have 2011 off?ESN - Thu 2/2, 9:21AM
NEWS: A player who was just a year ago compared by many as one of the greatest small forwards ever to play the game. What was that he served up in 2011? He wasn't much better in the finals either. Hopefully last season has given him a hell of a wake up call and he will be itching to go come Round 1 to play at his best again. He is expected to play plenty of NAB Cup action as he prepares for a rebound season.

2012 OutlookESN - Wed 1/2, 9:11PM
NEWS: What happened? He fell off the map last year. He forgot how to win his own ball. We spoke all last season about when he would turn it around and he never did. He didn't show positive signs in the finals either. Listen for an uninterrupted pre-season. We would need to see something in pre-season NAB Cup action before we could give him the go ahead. Let's not forget he is only one year on from experts comparing his game to Peter Daicos. This is a 2012 outlook article.

Injured Didak has been training well and will likely play this weekendESN - Tue 2/8, 2:10PM

Cold Didak will likely return this weekend but through the VFLESN - Tue 26/7, 1:14PM
NEWS: Questions are being asked of the champ. Does he still have a spot in this side? His form has been well below par this season. Plus the emergence of some other young small forwards in the Collingwood lineup have certainly added to the depth. Even still though. He is such a great player. You would expect they will bring him back in a week or so and see if he can get some touch coming into finals. Most experts still have him in the best 22.
