| NEWS: Tomlinson is a unique key position player that can play at either ends of the ground. Arguments have already begun as to where he is best suited, as is the case with Michael Hurley from Essendon. We would expect that Tomlinson will show up across a half back flank to begin with, but wouldn't be surprised if they test him in other positions along the journey with blowout losses surely coming GWS's way. He is also eligible as a Forward. He has terrific endurance and reads the play exceptionally well. We imagine he will play a similar role to that of Sam Fisher. He will certainly play given how shallow key position players were in the draft and Greater Western Sydney's need to develop them faster than normal. At TAC Cup level last year he played in 7 games averaging 15 possessions, 5 marks and 2 tackles amassing him 62 Dream Team points a game. In the NAB Under 18 AFL Championships he averaged 10 possessions, 3 marks and 2 tackles, leaving him with 43 Dream Team points a game playing in only 4 games over the 5 game carnival.
