Robinson feed it out of a half forward stoppage to McCluggage who kicks the first of the day from 45! (Q1 1:22)
McCarthy picks up the loose ball on the flank and is able to turn and hit up Martin with the short kick. From 40m on a slight angle, Stefan tucks it to the left. (Q1 4:11)
Rampe is penalised for high contact, but the call could have gone either way. Charlie Cameron is the benefactor and he kicks truly from 25m, directly in front. (Q1 8:22)
Jones launches a long-range shot but it skids wide and results in a minor score. (Q1 8:53)
Hipwood is faced with a difficult shot from deep in the pocket. His kick slides wide and is forcefully knuckled over the line. (Q1 11:55)
Robinson shows courage and is flattened my Melican after the mark (without much malicious intent). While the Lions and Swans scuffle, Robinson pops it over to Cutler who goals. (Q1 14:24)

Haywood manufactures a quirky yet effective shot for goal from the hot spot but it’s touched on the line. (Q2 4:10)
Kennedy squeezes a kick inside 50 where Reid and Walker scrap over the loose ball. Haywood is the first to support, pouncing and soccering it forward for a clever goal. (Q2 6:55)
Aliir bombs it to a crowded contest in Sydney’s hot spot where Haywood marks impressively. The young Swan kicks another and gives his side a sniff. (Q2 10:38)
After roving a pack at CHF, Heeney is able to compose himself and slide a kick from 55m through the big sticks! (Q2 12:08)
A galloping Cutler receives from Lyons but can’t convert his running 45m shot. (Q2 13:37)
A chain of accurate kicks finally results in a strong Dawson inside-50 grab. A 50m penalty against Taylor for cluelessly crossing the mark gives Dawson the certain goal. (Q2 16:09)

McCluggage gets nutmegged before Papley soccers a loose ball out of the air from 20m as the Swans take the lead. (Q2 24:54)
Jones, Hayward and Papley combine, but with constant pressure for company. The latter gets a flying snap away from 45 which misses. (Q2 29:39)
McStay works Aliir under the footy to clunk the mark in the pocket. Dan curls his kick back perfectly as the Lions regain their lead. (Q2 32:23)
Panic sets in as Cunningham is pinged for holding Cameron in the marking contest. Charlie totally sprays a simple shot. (Q3 1:23)
The rain is starting to pour down at the Gabba. (Q3 4:12)
Hipwood roves his own contest and is able to find a couple of metres of space but can’t align his 40m running shot. (Q3 6:10)
Mcstay sends the footy forward where Cameron juggles the mark in the wet conditions. His shot from 35m starts and finishes to the right. (Q3 9:52)
Aliir is penalised for a very, very soft ruck infringement and McStay makes him pay with an accurate kick from 45. (Q3 11:26)
McCarthy centres the footy to a dangerous area where Hipwood tunnelballs it out the back to Rayner. The young gun snaps the goal from 20 out, directly in front. (Q3 17:08)
The Swans respond with haste thanks to some crafty individual effort from Papley. He goals while running laterally at 40. (Q3 18:37)
Papley does it again with an even more impressive goal. With repeat efforts on the HFF, he pushes off Answerth, runs inboard, and snaps truly from 40. (Q3 20:13)
Martin marks strongly on the flank. His kick in the direction of Berry is smacked over the goal line. (Q3 21:55)
Papley is involved a couple of times before Jack chips to Kennedy within range. JPK’s 53m kick soars over the pack for a goal. (Q3 24:54)
Hipwood shows great mobility to cleanly pick up the loose, wet ground ball, but his shot from the pocket is marginally wide. (Q3 28:10)
The footy ricochets off Rampe’s boot in the pocket, giving the dangerous Cameron a look at goal. On his left boot, Charlie runs around and splits the middle! (Q3 34:57)
Neale sends it inside 50 where Hipwood stands metres clear of his opponent. Eric’s attempt from 45 on a tough angle sails over the goal umpire’s head. (Q3 36:40)
Following an OOTF Lions clearance, Kennedy sends the footy forward into the Swans’ 50. Reid marks and shoots from 45 but hits the post. (Q4 7:51)
Cutler will line up for goal from the flank. His strike is decent but it’s across the face and punched over the line. (Q4 13:53)
The Swans turn it over and McCluggage makes them pay with a running goal from 45m. It’s almost out of range for Sydney now. (Q4 14:50)
McCartin dumps Walker behind play to kickstart a Brisbane attack. Lachie Neale is involved and Mitch Robinson kicks a great goal from the flank! (Q4 18:51)
It could be 2 goals in 2 minutes for Robinson, but an ‘umpire’s call’ goal review results in a touched behind. (Q4 18:51)
Heeney blasts the footy forward where Papley marks in front of Witherden in a contest that will test the ribs. Tom wheels around and kicks a fantastic goal from the 50. (Q4 20:50)
Neale picks up the loose footy, snaps on his left, and misses to the far side. (Q4 22:05)
Papley has too much time on his hands, leaving him in two minds between shooting and passing. The end result is a missed attempt on goal from 35. (Q4 23:17)
Mitch Robinson is penalised for holding the man against Lloyd, then gives away a 50m penalty for a bit of unnecessary rough conduct. Lloyd goals from 25m. (Q4 23:17)
Zorko gets on his bike around the stoppage and snaps beautifully from the pocket to put the result beyond doubt. (Q4 23:17)
Hayward strikes his 45m kick with intent but it flies by the wrong side of the post. (Q4 23:17)
McCluggage offloads by hand to Robinson who grubbers an attempt toward goal from 50, eventually bouncing wide. (Q4 23:17)
