Montagna marks on the HFF, wheels around and centres to Membrey for a juggling mark at 40m on a slight angle. He misses. (Q1 4:31)
Montagna roves a pack on the wing and gives to Lonie who darts a pass to Membrey at 35m on a slight angle. Membrey, who has had a few sighters, gets this one on line. (Q1 6:14)
Lonie picks up a loose ball in a big pack at half forward and gives to Riewoldt for a simple snap from the hotspot for the second goal of the afternoon. (Q1 8:00)
Hooker has the sit and marks a long Hibberd ball up the guts to 20m over Fisher, who was powerless to stop it. He goals. (Q1 12:29)
Schneider passes to Newnes running back with the flight to the hotspot in front of Stanton. He boots a rare goal. (Q1 22:00)
Riewoldt wrestles with Hurley sitting under a long ball to the hotspot, they both fall over and the ball lands in the arms of Bruce behind them. Bruce goals. (Q1 23:30)
Armitage clears from the next centre bounce, Bruce clunks a strong mark in front of Gwilt at 45m on a slight angle. He misses. (Q1 25:15)
Armitage pressures a Hurley hack out of the BP, Roberton picks out Bruce in a nest of Dons at 40m in the corridor. Bruce goals again. (Q1 26:36)
Gwilt dithers and is caught in possession on the HBF by Newnes, Bruce who had started the pressure catches a short Gwilt kick and runs to 50m on a slight angle for the goal! (Q2 2:08)
Cooney takes a contested mark at the top of the square and kicks the goal for Essendon. (Q2 4:51)
Baguley smashes open a pack behind the centre but the ball spills over the back to Lonie, who bounces to 45m on a slight angle for a miss. (Q2 6:06)
Hooker marks over Armitage at the top of the square, but misses a soda. (Q2 7:23)
The Saints, perhaps predictably, sweep forward from the kick in with a rebound up the guts, Bruce marks at the hotspot and gives to Sinclair running past for the goal. (Q2 8:53)
Lonie gets a handball and tries a Daicos special from the pocket, he wows the crowd with another Saint major from 15m! (Q2 10:08)
Gleeson’s short kick to CHB for Zaharakis is easy for Geary to spoil, the crumb goes to the Saints and eventually Montagna marks 35m out on a slight angle. Tags goals. (Q2 15:41)
Montagna passes to Lonie deep in the pocket 25m out, he looks inside but has to go back for the set shot. He misses. (Q2 18:09)
Montagna does a one-two with Roberton to get free on the HBF, looks inside but goes himself from 50m near the boundary… and slams through another one for St Kilda! (Q2 20:24)
Newnes is pinged for a 50m penalty to place Heppell near the hotspot, for not returning the ball in time. Hep-D goals. (Q2 22:24)
Daniher anticipates a Fisher handball, taps it down to himself at the hotspot and completes some fine play with a snap across the body off balance for a goal. (Q2 24:55)
Lonie tries another unlikely snap from the boundary 25m out, it’s bouncing straight but is rushed on the line by Baguley. (Q2 27:49)
Stanton gives to Heppell steaming up the guts to 45m, he shoots off a few steps just before getting crunched… it sails through! (Q2 29:08)
Armitage gives to Lonie after the next centre bounce for a flying snap from CHF… just wide. (Q2 30:18)
Kavanagh roves a Hooker contest 20m out in front but misses a quick snap. (Q3 0:07)
Hibberd kicks blind from a stoppage in the BP, it goes very high to 45m on a slight angle where Webster marks unopposed and goals. (Q3 3:19)
Riewoldt marks on the HFF and pokes a little pass to Armitage at 45m near the boundary. Armitage tries a pass that doesn’t work, Baguley intercepts. (Q3 6:31)
After Dempsey is pinged on the wing for umpire abuse, Dempster hits Riewoldt on the lead on the fat side flank 40m out. Rooey pops it through easy as you like. (Q3 9:01)

Melksham pushes off Newnes on the HFF to gather a ground ball, he gives to Hooker who wears a hit from Gilbert but goals from 20m. (Q3 15:31)
The Saints work the loose man on a switch from halfback without the Dons getting anywhere near it, Newnes passes to Weller at 20m on the flank for the goal. (Q3 17:52)
Melksham dithers at halfback and is smothered by Lonie, Bruce marks the turnover ball by Montagna at 35m on a slight angle. He goals as well. (Q3 20:32)
Hibberd passes to Daniher on a fast break up the guts started by Heppell at halfback. Daniher lines up from 40m on a slight angle and sprays it, only just a behind. (Q3 23:03)
Weller takes a contested mark from a centring Geary ball to the hotspot, he goals as well. It’s a procession by now. (Q3 24:36)
Ray is the next Saint to hit the scoreboard with a snap goal from behind a stoppage at the hotspot. (Q3 27:00)

Riewoldt passes very short to Schneider at the hotspot after the Saints lock the ball into their forward area for several minutes. Schneiderman goals. (Q4 2:29)

Zach Merrett kicks quickly from the HFF to the square where Gilbert has allowed Hooker to be on his own for the mark and goal. (Q4 10:44)
An Armitage goal, then Sinclair runs from the next centre bounce and kicks another one from CHF. (Q4 13:40)
Riewoldt marks over two Bombers on the goal line for another one. (Q4 15:35)
