Williams situation worsens
- Updated: May 1, 2007
Just this morning, on the train to work, IÂ was contemplating the lack of season-ending injuries so far this season. But could Mark Williams be out for the rest of the year?
That highly explosive revelation is published here, on the Footyheads website – they reckon he’ll be on crutches for around 8 weeks. Compare that to the Hawks’ official line, where he’s listed as missing 4 to 6.
Let’s keep an eye on this one as a good way of testing FH’s credibility. If it’s true, all DT coaches who have Williams need to ditch him, right now, obviously.
EDIT: Confirmed in this morning’s Age by Hawthorn.
