It begins: Dream Team pre-registration

The AFL Dream Team competition is now open for pre-registration, with a due date for opening of February 1.
You can pre-register for 2010 Dream Team now, and post about it to Twitter and Facebook. Several details for this year’s competition are contained in the paraphernalia: namely, that the official opening date is February 1, and also that the prize on offer for pre-registration consists of grand final tickets for five people.
No word yet on the prize pool for the main competition, but given that Toyota is still the sponsor, you’d expect cars to be involved again.
Also no word on when the Supercoach competition will launch, but you’d expect some time in the first half of February, if not the first week.
FF Projections & optimiser
In a first for Australian fantasy, FanFooty is launching a new Projections tool for not only creating your own weekly fantasy point predictions based on historical stats and consensus rankings, but a function to auto-generate an optimised “perfect” lineup for use in weekly and daily fantasy sports!
These are the sort of tools that pros use in American DFS to construct their lineups, and with the rise of DFS in Australia in 2016 FanFooty Projections will become indispensible to the hardcore and the casual fantasy coach! (Note: this feature will become part of this year’s FF Premium product later this year, but for now it’s free.)
