    Some happy coaches due to:
    -Houlihack
    -Broughton
    -Skippy
    -Greenwood
    -Didak
    -Bock
    -Swift
    -Garlett

    Some very unhappy ones too…
    -Raines
    -Coughlan
    -Beams
    -Sidebottom possibly
    -Yarran
    -All Brisbane’s outs
-People who got rid of Houlihack a bit early, people who just traded in Coughlan or Yarran or Sidebottom, people who traded Houlihack FOR Yarran or Raines or Sidebottom

Personally I’m happy, I get Bock and Garlett back, I can sell Hill for Broughton finally, and I dodged most of the bad news (other than the lack of Beams).

Happy – Broughton, Bock, Krakouer (but he will drop in price), Ballentyne named as emergency. Cheney (don’t have him)

Not Happy – Couglan, Sidebottom (maybe) and no Beams.

Traded Houlihan for Grimes and cash so don’t care there.

If you have two emergencies named and get one 0, then the lowest emergency counts. If you have two 0s, then both count.

very happy to be shot of houlihan.

Ratten has issues with him, so who is to say he stays in the team.

finally some good selection news. and the position of some of the blokes on the bubble looks interesting too, maybe a jump in their scores?

Need to wait until tomorrow, extended interchanges still contain lots of popular players. Although the biggest risks for the weekend are still Gilbee and Higgins.

hmmm. yes, i am considering kicking myself about houlihan. but i have grimes and the cash, though hula’s hair looks pretty good.

Houlihan still in my team purely by chance. Was too busy putting out fires elsewhere to attend to Hoop, else he was toast. Like the boy, but if Ratten won’t give him the game time he isn’t much good on a fantasy bench. Hopefully he’ll be on a mission to prove himself worthy of his spot and will pull out the big numbers. If he could just keep his clanger count down, he’d be worth keeping till stumps. If neither happen, then it’s not too far a stretch to make the Hoop-to-Hodge trade.

I too, am digging on the hair. Nice mOnty.

I traded Houlihan early?? Are you kidding? He was out for ages, he scored rubbish for a few weeks – I traded to Gilbee and I’m loving it. Everyone, including Monty, said to trade out of Houlihan. Saying it was early because he was picked back again 3 weeks later, without any guarantee of form, is pure rubbish.

I’m not kicking myself at all, because I made some nice cash, and got onto Gilbee at the right time. Houlihan is a risk now. Noone would trade him in ever now, so why are people happy to have him?

@evawes1: he’s been out for 3 games which isn’t ages if you have cover in the backline. I’m happy to have him because for his asking price at the start of the year he’s scored well and has the potential to make more cash and or keep. It’s hard enough covering all the injuries without trading players of his talent (frustrating as he can be).

need to pick up at least one in the backline for Raines- thinking of either Grima/Greenwood/Broughton. not great options but I need to put in at least one of them. thoughts??

I have Higgins on the field, concerned he wont play. On the bench I curently have Sidebottom and Warren both as emergencies. I only have one other playing emergency – Petrenko. Is this a dangerous sistuation given the doubt about Sidebottom’s role. Should I remove Sidebottom as an emegency and take Warrens score if Higgins doesnt play?
The other option is just to upgrade Higgins as I have pleny of cash having just swapped suban to broughton.

guys just a question that requires a simple yes or no answer…..

if you could finish your team off, (ie. have all keepers) but only having 5 trades for the remaining rounds would u do it??

anyone know how long Priddis is out for? he was racken em up b4 he got injured a couple of weeks ago.

    May 29, 2009 at 6:41 pm

    @jkvel1

    NO.

mind you, u obviously have no regard for having trades in the bank so u mite as well complete the damage.

5 trades to finsh the year out with, i really dont envy ur position, a side full of keepers or not

After tonights average game, perhaps a rugby union style schedule, as mentioned on this site last season, would be the way to go? Put a good game on Fri night and hide tonights game on a Sunday.
