Sam Durham has had a best-on-ground performance this year in his CV, playing central midfield as cover for injured stars. With Darcy Parish and others returning to the side he has taken a lesser role in the team but, like Archie Perkins, he must be wondering if his future is better served outside Essendon where there is more opportunity to use his talents to their potential.
