Errol Gulden has had a relatively quiet start to the 2024 campaign, outshone in large part by the rise of Isaac Heeney to early Brownlow Medal favouritism. His role has not changed at all from last year, just as often starting on a wing as in the middle, but he is most definitely a pure midfielder following the ball wherever he starts from. His best plays involve using his pace and balance to sprint away from congestion in the centre to set up scores or dob them himself, and he will no doubt have more opportunities today against the Suns.
