Jack Carroll has been a decent cash cow for fantasy coaches this year, with added popularity due to the Carlton game usually being so early in the opening fixtures. It is the time of the season when you start thinking about cashing in your rookies to fund upgrades, however. Sam Walsh's return to the Carlton midfield might also be a catalyst for many fantasy coaches to take the money from Carroll and run, maybe even to fund getting Walsh in himself. Even though we are still in the first quarter of a long season, Carroll's startability is dropping sharply.
