West Coast rebounds with skill and pace around members wing to excite the home crowd, Cole passes to Ryan just on 50m on a slight angle who delivers the go-ahead goal! (Q3 30:55)

Eagles have two on one in a marking contest on the HBF but Cole drops the mark, Rankine stayed down to rove and waltz to 40m on the flank for the go-ahead goal! (Q4 18:40)

This game has been played like a final for long passages, and that was a finals-type play by the Crows befitting their status as likely minor premiers. (Q4 21:14)
Dawson takes a pack mark on members wing and delivers a lovely long kick to the flank 50m out for Burgess to mark, his kick is short for no direct score. (Q4 23:44)
From the resultant ball up, Keays’ snap is smothered but the crumb falls for that man Thilthorpe who goals off his left! (Q4 24:25)
While in retrospect it may have seemed inevitable, the Crows have had to pull out some big-time plays to stave off the Eagles’ best performance of the season. (Q4 25:29)
Burgess marks on the flank 40m out after the next bounce, again Soligo involvedf, but he misses. 3:49 to go and three kicks in it now, only a miracle would win it for the Eagles. (Q4 26:10)
Burgess spoils a kick across half back and soccers towards the square, ball dribbles away from him under Cole’s chasing pressure and it eventually rolls for a behind. (Q4 27:43)
Laird spoils a Cripps pass to Brockman but holds him without the footy, free kick from 30m on a slight angle goes through but it’s too late with 37 seconds left. (Q4 29:56)
