Acres smothers McInerney’s attempted kick inside 50 on the wing, but the Swan follows up the crumb and runs to 45m on a slight angle to snap the first goal of the night. (Q1 2:37)
McAndrews taps down in ruck at the Blues hotspot but straight to Cottrell who snaps quickly off the right, it falls over the line for the opener for Carlton. (Q1 5:22)
After Cerra mows down Warner at half back to start a counter, Gulden rushes a Cottrell kick to the square over Motlop. (Q1 8:04)
The kick in comes back in quickly, Charlie Curnow juggles the mark in front of Fox 20m out but kicks into Fox on the mark… then fights on to enable Motlop to rove and goal. (Q1 9:06)
Hollands scrubs a clearance kick to the square, McKay is in front of Francis to gather but he snaps wide on the turn from 15m. (Q1 11:48)

Papley has two on him going for a Lloyd rebound kick on the wing, numbers win out with Acres setting up Saad to hit the hotspot where McKay marks and tugs it way right. (Q3 14:35)
Cottrell forces a turnover in the pocket and feeds Docherty but the snap across the body from 25m is wide and touched through anyway. (Q3 17:35)
McKay marks a repeat inside 50 kick by Hollands in front of a pack 40m out. This is set up for his screwing set shot, he’s been kicking drop punts… screws too far, another point. (Q3 19:05)
Rowbottom roves a smothered Hollands kick near the hotspot but his quick kick needs an off break that it doesn’t get. (Q3 21:21)
Warner receives at half forward and baulks away from Cerra to pass across half forward, McInerney goes short to Papley 40m out on the flank who plays on and snaps the big goal. (Q3 22:02)

McKay roves his own contest at the hotspot after falling to ground and gives up to Charlie Curnow who scrubs a grubber wide. (Q3 29:31)
Wicks skids a snap wide from half forward in the last few seconds before HT. (Q3 30:06)
Franklin roves a McLean contest in the pocket and tries a skidder off the left from 20m but it goes narrow. (Q4 2:39)

Weitering spoils Franklin one out near the hotspot, McLean comes in to help, Bud toepokes wide of the pack, McLean toes it to the square where Warner gathers and goals! (Q4 13:45)
It has been a tough watch this one, pressure high, skills not great, and not many players in form on either side. Sydney has made its move now though. (Q4 14:10)
Surge play by the Swans after the next bounce, Parker volleys a loose ball from the HFF to the top of the square, Hayward beats Kennedy to waltz into the open goal! (Q4 14:48)

Gulden marks in the pocket 30m out and plays on for some reason, his snap nicks the right post. (Q4 19:50)
Kemp’s kick clanger at half back is straight to Franklin, resulting to a pass to McInerney in the pocket 25m out, he goes back for the set shot and kicks the official sealer. (Q4 21:00)
Cerra passes to Owies 40m out in the corridor who tugs it left. (Q4 24:30)
