Wines coughs up the footy defensive side of the wing straight to Taylor. Lewy hands off to Bewick, who spears it towards Cameron. Charlie slots the first of the day from 35! (Q1 3:09)
Sam Gray twists and turns inside 50, eluding McCluggage on his heels. Was it 15? Play on… Motlop goes with the checkside but misses to the right. (Q1 3:09)
Quick hands by Hipwood to Berry, who strikes Cameron on the chest. A second early goal for the Lions’ livewire! This time clunked in front of Byrne-Jones at 40. (Q1 6:15)
Polec snaps to the front of the square at front position wins out. Ahead of Andrews, Dixon marks 15 out on a tight angle and finishes his snap truly. First goal for the Power. (Q1 7:43)
Wingard sports Gray (Robbie) free inside 50. From 40 out on a minimal angle, he slots the goal. Back to back for Port. (Q1 7:43)
Watts marks a Dixon long bomb before unselfishly passing to Barry in better position. From about 38, he misses right. (Q1 10:50)
In congestion, Andrews throws it on the boot straight to the lap of Wingard unopposed. From 50, his long shot just misses (Q1 15:48)
Hipwood gives the handball to the running Robertson, who in his 50th game, lines up the shot from the centre square. It bounces nicely for Nick. Goal to the Lions! (Q1 17:43)
Martin launches the Sherrin forward. Deep inside 50, Gardiner does well to contest at ground level, forcing it out to Christensen, who dribbes it home with style. (Q1 22:01)

Receiving from Zorko, Bewick then breaks clear of a pack and launches one toward goal. Minor score only. (Q2 10:45)
Rayner shows his talent with a strong mark over Hartlett. From 30m, directly in front, Cam kicks his first of the day! (Q2 14:32)
Dixon gives away another 50m penalty with Bewick the benefactor. From 45 out, again, Rohan misses. (Q2 17:01)
A pack spillage falls into Zorko’s hands who doesn’t take any second guesses. He slots the goal with class from 48. (Q2 19:44)
McCluggage to Taylor, who kicks in the Cameron direction. In front of Clurey, Charlie marks strongly in front position. From 40m, he kicks his 3rd goal of the day! (Q2 20:57)
Motlop receives the pass on the lead from Sam Gray. From 45m, he shoots it through the big sticks for his first major of the day. (Q2 23:23)
Cutler clears it out of the middle to a pack, where Hipwood gathers the crumb and shoots from just inside 50 for another Brisbane goal. (Q2 24:58)
McCluggage extends the team’s lead with a left foot mongrel snap, crumbing the crowd at 25m. Score review is… inconclusive! Goal stands (Q2 28:30)
Sam Gray takes the mark running toward goal with his back toward it. He plays on, getting himself into trouble, but dances around his opponent nicely, kicking a classy goal. (Q2 30:45)
Zorko earns a kick for a high tackle by Ebert. He puts on the afterburners and spears it to Cutler within scoring distance. From 45 out, he pulls it to the left. (Q3 4:06)
Watts centres the footy cleverly, Wingard and Motlop share it around, then Westhoff runs into goal with a relatively easy finish. (Q3 5:22)
Rayner handballs defensively back to Witherden, finding Cutler. Tom launches a shot from outside 50, through for another minor score. (Q3 8:01)
Marshall kicks in the Wingard direction who gathers on the half volley and hits up Watts running toward goal. Jack goals. Margin 1 point! (Q3 9:36)
On this occasion Wingard finds Marshall, who lets Robbie Gray run by, electing instead to pass to Rockliff. Against his former side, he goals from 35 out. And the Port fans bellow! (Q3 11:06)
Cutler finds himself in scoring territory yet again, with a OOF free paid to him just inside the 50. He strikes it beautifully! Lions back in front. (Q3 12:36)
Bonner shows some dash, a rarity today, sending the footy to the hot spot. Off the ground, Sam Gray with a hard ball get, snap and goal! Power back in front. (Q3 16:22)
Andrews is paid deliberate OOB, controversially with the ball in his hand. Rockliff takes the kick with an OOF, giving it right back. (Q3 18:36)
Following a bit of kick to kick on the wing, Port travel the ball to Ebert, who launches a shot from outside 50. It’s a goal! (Q3 21:06)
Polec’s inside 50 kick is a shank, but it falls it the lap of Travis Boak. Despite a quiet day at the office, a captain’s goal is crucial here. Lead out to 17. (Q3 24:36)
Polec scoops it off the deck to Motlop who burns away from McCluggage toward goal. Steven goals. (Q3 29:09)
Bonner launches it inside 50 toward Robbie Gray, who draws the free kick from Andrews for infringing off the ball. Gray’s snap around the corner just misses to the near side. (Q3 32:24)
Cameron centres an OOF free kick to Cedric Cox, who was moved forward in Q3. Seconds before the final break, Cox kicks the goal, keeping Brisbane’s hopes alive. (Q3 33:47)
Andrews gives away a push in the back free to Charlie Dixon. From outside 50 on a decent angle, Charlie launches it. Distance covered easily, accuracy not so. Behind so. (Q4 1:32)
After a comedy of errors downfield, Rayner finds the footy, draws the man and hands off to McCluggage. In mounds of space, Hugh nails the goal from 30m. (Q4 4:35)
Polec get’s the one-two while streaming down the boundary line. He tries for the miraculous dribbler finish, but not quite. Point only. (Q4 6:15)
Marshall gingerly centres the footy inside the Power’s 50. Wingard roves the contest, feeds to SPP, who’s snap pushes wide. (Q4 8:49)
Hands in the back from Houston allows Hipwood the set-shot from 35. On a difficult angle, Eric smacks it OOF. (Q4 9:50)
Mitch Robinson hits Wines late, forcing a downfield free kick. Robbie Gray passes backwards to Watts on a better angle. Uncharacteristically, Jack’s kick doesn’t make the distance. (Q4 13:21)
Robbie Gray marks a Rockliff pass strongly on the lead. Boundary side, his hot-spot kick is fisted through for a behind. (Q4 14:17)
To keep the Lions in the game, Hipwood launches a shot from right on the 50m line. An undersized Bonner disrupted his run. Eric delivers for his team! 12 points the margin. (Q4 17:48)
With an opportunity to ice the game, Boak’s shot from 40m out hits the woodwork. (Q4 22:04)
The Lions go end to end, finishing with Hipwood who lines up directly in front, 30m out. Only a goal in it now! (Q4 22:39)

Polec with a goalkeeper save on the line! Christensen had the chance to hit the lead, but his snap didn’t have enough juice on it. (Q4 27:58)
