The Pies are fast starters! From the centre, the Pies work it forward and Cloke is the one to force it into Langdon’s path at ground level. Tom runs onto it and sends it home! (Q1 0:00)
Pendlebury opens the play up from half back, with a defence splitting pass. It works out to Oxley, who whacks it towards goal from the arc. Cloke shepherds it through! (Q1 4:17)
Crisp receives on the fly and sets sail for home, but hits the post from 35 on the slight. (Q1 5:31)
McCartin receives out the back, taking the uncontested mark. The former number 1 pick wastes little time, centring to the speeding Steven. Jack doesn’t break stride as he goals! (Q1 6:15)
Maynard to Greenwood who sends it long. Fasolo gets his hands to the ball first, tapping it downward to an unopposed De Goey. On the snap, he misses from 30 to the right. (Q1 8:59)
Goodyear turns it over with his first kick in footy, through the corridor. Its repelled quickly by Dunstan, finding Bruce on the lead. From outside 50, Josh nabs his first! (Q1 10:15)
Blair flicks it through to a powering Cloke. Travis immediately whacks it on the boot for home, but misses the shot from 45. (Q1 11:32)
The Saints go end to end from the kick in. It ends with Sinclair arching his back and just evading the Pies pressure, before finding McCartin out the back. Goal to Patrick! (Q1 12:45)
Ross roves it off the ground with tremendous precision before dropping it into an unopposed Lonie. Jack misses the running attempt from the pocket. (Q1 14:15)
The Pies turn it over coming out of defence and it’s Nick Riewoldt who is the receipient, receiving the free for hands in the back against Brown after Geary drilled it in.He goals! (Q1 18:01)
From the half back flank, Pendlebury works it forward and Goodyear sends them inside 50 with a long effort. Moore takes the mark and chips it over the top to Cloke who goals! (Q1 19:36)
Minchington marks out on the lead unopposed as the Saints push forward inside 50 once more. From the resultant set shot, 35 metres out on the flank, he pulls it to the near side. (Q1 21:18)
Scott Pendlebury drops to his knees and Sinclair gets him high, although its debatable whether that should be paid or not. Resultantly, Scott nails it from 45! (Q1 22:53)
McCartin utlizes his body, pushing into Reid on the lead and forcing the free kick. From 40 on the sharp angle, Patrick misses to the near side. (Q1 24:16)
Riewoldt, Newnes and then Armitage as the Saints move it slickly into the forward 50. David spots up Dunstan who chips it over the top to Lonie, and Jack finishes it off! (Q1 29:02)

Crisp sends through an extremely classy finish as both sides had opportunities to score. In a demanding contest, the ball popped out Jack’s way and he slammed it through from 40! (Q2 8:47)
Dunstan to Newnes through the corridor, and Jack uses the positioning to effect, darting in an effort to the leading Weller. The former Sun slots it from 45 on the flank! (Q2 11:26)
Greenwood finds it on the deck after Howe had the big fly, and Levi chips it in short to the unopposed former Lion, Aish. From 40 on the slight, he goals! (Q2 14:02)
Greenwood gives away the high free kick to Riewoldt after running into Nick with his head down. Silly approach to the contest and Nick hammers it home from 35! (Q2 17:43)
Sinclair to Adams to Cloke, two well placed kicks which enabled a Cloke shot at goal from just outside the arc. Travis trots in and goals from 55! (Q2 19:19)
The Pies win it out of the middle and Geary gives away the free kick for holding on Fasolo. Alex predictably slots the set shot from 50! (Q2 21:43)
Grundy feeds it off to De Goey in the forward 50 and Jordan sets sail for goal. From 35 on the slight angle, Jordan misses to the left hand side. (Q2 22:16)
McCartin takes a massive contested mark opposed to two Pies running back with the slight. From deep in the pocket, Patrick misses to the near side. (Q2 23:13)
Sinclair flicks it over the top to Montagna, who is pressed up on the boundary just inside the arc. Leigh trots in with time ticking down, but pulls the shot to the near side. (Q2 29:47)
Oxley hits Crisp unopposed after the former Lion made a gut bursting effort into the 50. From 45 on the slight, he misses to the right hand side from the set shot opportunity. (Q3 2:01)
Brown takes Weller down off the ball, with an ill-timed tackle. From the resultant set shot, Maverick sends it home from 25 on the sharp angle! (Q3 6:38)
The Saints again speed the ball from one end of the ground to the other. Bruce receives the handball and feeds it off to the powering Gilbert. From 40, Sam snaps truly! (Q3 7:32)
Sinclair to Billings to Hickey, with the hard working ruckmen going to the hot spot at the top of the square. Bruce gets to position A and takes the towering mark. He goals! (Q3 9:47)
Minchington wings a big 50/50 on the wing, forcing the turnover in a 1 v 2 situation. Darren then darts the pass onto Weller’s chest, who goals from 50 on the slight! (Q3 13:34)
The Pies captain gives away a free kick to Saint Armitage, in a somewhat dubious free kick for holding the arm. From just outside 50, David slams it home! (Q3 16:17)
The Saints speed it forward once more, with little to no pressure to deal with. Gilbert finds Lonie unattended, but Jack misses the set shot from 35 on the flank. (Q3 21:17)
Pendlebury gets some run for the Pies off the half back and then sending it into the forward 50. it ends with Grundy marking unopposed, in the pocket. His snap misses. (Q3 22:49)
Again, the Saints stream it from coast to coast! Armitage sends it out the back to Steven, who runs onto the bouncing ball and hammers it home from 25! (Q3 24:00)
Oxley takes a strong, yet disputed mark in the one on one with Armitage on the wing. He darts it into Howe, who takes a mark 40 out from goal directly in front. Jeremy goals! (Q3 26:39)
Montagna moves it centrally to Savage, who chips it into an unopposed Lonie. From the paint of 50 on the slight angle, he hits the post. (Q4 1:53)
Pendlebury picks the correct kick under a wealth of pressure through the corridor, setting up the much needed goal. From there, Cloke forced it to ground and Fasolo finished! (Q4 5:09)
Long bomb comes out of the centre clearance via the boot of Steven and Bruce takes the strong contested mark opposed to Crown. From 30 on the slight, he hits the post again. (Q4 6:09)
Billings receives on the arc and although he’s corralled by a spirited Moore effort, Jack manages to send it through the big sticks! The Saints appear home! (Q4 10:36)
Fisher centres to Montagna and he finds Armitage, hanging forward and taking the strong mark. From 35 on the slight, David misses to the near side. (Q4 15:39)
Reid wins the one on one at ground level opposed to Fisher. Ben flicks it on to the speeding De Goey, who slots the major from 25! (Q4 16:47)
Grundy fumbles the ball forward and Minchington pounces on the leather, flicking it over the top to Steven. Jack turns and slams it home from point blank range! (Q4 19:27)
Steven receives Savage’s handball and again flicks it off to the speeding Lonie. Jack, being chased down at pace himself, manages to hammer home another! (Q4 21:05)
Fasolo centres to the hard running Adams as the Pies win a rare centre clearance. Taylor attacks the ball at pace and finishes ahead of a lunging Hickey! (Q4 21:38)
Pendlebury receives the free kick for in the back against Gilbert, a somewhat dubious decision on later inspection. Scott trots in and goals from 35! (Q4 26:01)
