The outstanding prospect of the 2019 draft class, Matthew Rowell arrives with a tremendous CV including two best-on-ground junior grand final performances. The former Oakleigh Charger averaged 32 possessions, nine tackles and nine clearances in seven NAB League appearances, including three finals. He received full votes in all NAB League matches, coming sixth in the Morrish Medal.Rowell arrives ready and seasoned to compete against hardened senior bodies and will receive his chance from the off. Following the dominant debut season of Sam Walsh, there is a possibility that this Sun may put up a similar stat line. With the proviso that even the best 18-year-olds are barely startable in draft leagues, selecting him in the latter rounds to bulk out your side may provide dividends. -
