Jack Whitlock has come into the Port Adelaide side at a time of great need at the crucial centre half forward position, with Ollie Lord on the LTI list and Todd Marshall tried in defence to combat a chronic lack of confidence. Whitlock is too young to really compete in the most difficult position in football at this early stage of his career, as he needs several more seasons on the protein shakes to build up his wiry body. He has more than enough potential, glimpsed at times in this rebuilding season for the Power, and is worth persisting with. Dynasty owners should consider him an investment.
