Luke Pedlar has been a bit part player this season, but he bobbed up last week to just about be Adelaide's most effective forward. With Collingwood ceding the area 40m out from goal to concentrate their defensive efforts on the three genuine talls of Thilthorpe, Walker and Fogarty, Pedlar was the man free for targets and he managed to convert several opportunities. His role in the Crows team is just as important this week against the Hawks, whose backline was the star of their away win over the Giants last week. He needs to keep Jack Scrimshaw accountable.
