Errol Gulden returned this year from long-term injury and started his season slowly, settling himself in to build fitness for a run at the finals. He would be as surpirsed as anyone to be one of the senior midfielders suiting up this week, with five best 23 Swans suspended for the rest of the season due to off-field shenanigans. It's Errol's team now, in some respects, and if Sydney are to make anything of September action this year he has to be the dynamo to keep their chances alive. If the Bloods culture means anything, he will dig deep to battle on as long as he can.
