Lachlan Bramble left Hawthorn in the off season looking for more opportunities, and has found plenty of senior games off a half back flank for the Bulldogs. Part of the plan was evidently for Bailey Williams to move up to a wing to make a spot for him, though injuries have meant the latter has reverted to defence in recent weeks. Luke Beveridge loves an anonymous roleplayer who ticks KPIs on his spreadsheets to enable the stars to do what they do, and in Bramble they have a prime example of the type. Perhaps he too will graduate to a wing like Williams or Oskar Baker one day.
