Max Gruzewski find himself as one of the focal points of the GWS attack for the rest of the season, with Jesse Hogan doubtful to return, Jake Riccardi still building fitness and Toby Greene out for at least a month with a calf injury. While Jake Stringer is capable of the extraordinary, he is just as likely to go missing for entire games at a time, so it's young Gru who will have to lead from the square to support Aaron Cadman. If the Giants are to make anything from an injury-ravaged season by scraping into a wildcard finals berth, Gruzewski needs to kick some bags.
