Zach Reid has been the archetypal boy with the barrow this season, with the job in front of him. Essendon is somewhere near rock bottom, having sacked its coach and continuing to lose matches by big margins most weeks. Reid has lost the services of Ben McKay in defence recently, leaving him even more isolated on the opposition's best key forward, facing more supply than the Colombian drug cartels.
