Corey Durdin came across from Carlton in the off season as a drop-in replacement for the retiring Willie Rioli: a small forward whose output is mostly measured in goals, but when he can't score he has to be accountable and keep his back flanker opponents busy. The Power have lost a lot of steam recently as attempts to top up their list have failed to deliver finals, and they are almost out of the running this year even with an expanded slate of ten teams qualifying. Durdin is a journeyman roleplayer at a club that really needs to commit to a rebuild, but keep recruiting list cloggers.
