Cooper Duff-Tytler has been eased into senior AFL life in a year where the rules have been changed to allow tall young ruckmen to play minimal minutes with the abolition of the substitute rule. The Eagles have been using him off the bench mostly up to now, but they have dropped Jack Williams today meaning that CDT is technically supposed to be third key forward in the West Coast front six. As with almost all first-year rucks, his shanks are spindly and his future is filled with protein shakes to fill out his frame, but today he gets more responsibility in the ones to show his wares.
