Elijah Tsatas has been eased into life in senior football at Essendon, not helped by some injuries but mostly rotating through midfield in short bursts followed by less dangerous work in forward 50. With the Dons actually looking better in the past couple of weeks, coinciding with his return to the team, he has plenty of time to learn from the current holder of the inside-out midfielder role at Essendon in Darcy Parish. As Parish ages out of that position it is Tsatas at the head of the queue to replace him, so he's a slow burn for club and fantasy owners.
