Darcy Fogarty has been displaced from the role at Adelaide that probably suits his body shape best - that of leading out from the goalsquare - by the advent of Riley Thilthorpe. The imminent retirement of Taylor Walker means he is the natural inheritor of the centre half forward position, meaning more leading to the logos and working on his tank to run up and back dozens of times per game. He'd probably do better if he was played like Mitch Georgiades was on the other side of the city at Port, but he's settled at the Crows and they will decide what they do with his career.
